How Ferry Locks Works
Select an exit lock between 1 and 4 before starting your round. Each lock has a specific survival probability: 80% for exit 1, 75% for exit 2, two-thirds for exit 3, and 50% for exit 4. If you survive your chosen lock, you receive a gross payout multiplier of 1.2x, 1.6x, 2.4x, or 4.8x respectively. Failure results in a zero return, and you cannot manually exit during the round once it begins.
Stakes and Settlement
Stakes are fixed at 10, 25, 50, or 100 virtual coins, with 25 as the default. The stake is deducted immediately at the start and persists through the animation. Payouts are calculated in hundredths, with any fractional carry kept separate from the credited whole coins. Settlement is automatic upon reaching the exit or the end of the reveal sequence.
Wallet and Reload Rules
The demo uses a virtual wallet stored in localStorage, starting with a balance of 1000 coins. A manual refill is only available when the balance drops below 10 coins while idle, setting the balance to 1000 rather than adding to it. Reloading the page discards any unfinished round without refund or resumption, and controls remain disabled while the game is active.
